(Feb. 7, 2007) – Power points will give the Heritage High School boys basketball team the district tournament top seed and an automatic bid into the Region II playoffs if the Dulles District season end Friday in a three-way tie for first place.
Park View, Potomac Falls and Heritage all enter play Friday with 10-3 district marks. While all three teams split 1-1 with each other this season, Heritage is the only of the three squads to go 2-0 against fourth place Broad Run and thus has a higher power point ranking.
If the boys race ends in a two-way tie, then a special playoff game will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Briar Woods to determine the district tournament top seed and automatic regional bid.
If Park View defeats Broad Run on the girls side and forces a tie, then the girls will hold a playoff Saturday at 2 p.m. at Briar Woods.

All three teams lose – Tri-Champions and Heritage advances based on power points.
Two teams win and one team loses – C0-Champions and a special playoff Saturday
One team wins and two teams lose – Winning team is champion alone.
