(Oct. 1, 2006) – The two-time defending state champion Stone Bridge competitive cheer team opened its 2006 campaign with a first place showing at the 4th Annual Handley Cheer Challenge on Sept. 27.
The Bulldogs, Group AAA state champs in 2005 and Group AA state champs in 2004, finished first in the 14-team event with 250 points. Sherando (238.5) and Liberty (238) were close behind. Locally, Dominion (196.5) was 10th, Loudoun County (180.5) was 11th and Heritage (165) was 14th.
