Heritage Wins Nailbiter Against James Wood
Winchester (Nov. 9, 2006) – The Heritage girls volleyball team took advantage of its veteran leadership and a strong fan following that made the trip west on Route 7 Thursday night to win a tense five-game AA Region II semifinal at James Wood. The Pride fell behind early but Heritage, led by the strong play of senior Alana Rudkovsky fought back for a 20-25, 25-13, 25-23, 15-25, 15-8 victory that advances the team to Saturday’s regional final and into next week’s state tournament.
