(Mar. 26, 2007) – Broad Run High School junior Caitlyn Delahaba pitched her third consecutive no hit game last Thursday, but this time with a twist as she stuck out every Heritage batter she faced.
Delahaba fanned 18 straight in the six inning game Broad Run won 15-0. Delahaba has yet to give up a basehit in three games. She has given up only one walk, while striking out 42.
Ashley Kramer continued her torrid hitting with three hits raising her batting average to .818 for the young season. She also scored three runs and had three RBIs.
Also for Broad Run: Michelle Clohan had three hits and scored two runs, Courtney Kramer had a double and a single and scored three runs, Judy Betz had single and triple driving in four runs, and freshman Anna Blessing had two hits and scored two runs.
