(Mar. 27, 2007) – The Heritage High School boys lacrosse team made a history Thursday night as the team earned its first ever victory over Loudoun Valley with a 10-8 non-district win.
Chris Rossie scored twice and had two assists and Russel East scored three times with an assist to lead the Pride. Tyler Barton was huge in net for Heritage with 15 saves.
Also for Heritage Dean Stambules had a goal and two assists and Ryan Gallaghe and Bryan McCarthy each had a goal and an assist. Chris Broderick and Peter Walsh each added a goal.
Valley was led Brad Feickert and Nick Fletcher, each with two goals and an assist while Dylan Zook and Sean Dacey each scored twice. Chris Daddio added two assists for the Vikes.
Cody Swain made 11 saves for Valley in goal.
