Leesburg (May 18, 2007) – The Loudoun County High School softball team defeated Heritage Tuesday 9-5 in the AA Dulles District regular-season finale for both teams.
The Raiders battled back, after going down 4-1 early in the game, with five runs scored in the fourth inning. Rochelle Latka went 3-for-4 with two singles and a triple and two RBI’s. Holly Norris also went 3-for-4 with three doubles and an RBI. Defensively, the Raiders were led by pitcher Lindsey Holtz, who was well supported by the defense.
