Leesburg (Nov. 13, 2007) – Heritage High School senior Kyle Startsman will play lacrosse at Shenandoah University starting in 2008-09.

The defender was named first team AA all-Region II, Washington Post all-Extra and all-Dulles District last season as he helped the Pride capture the Dulles District tournament title in 2007.

Startsman plans to major in pre-pharmacy and then attend the Dunn School of Pharmacy while continuing his lacrosse career with the Hornets.

In 2007 Shenandoah, which plays in the NCAA Division III Pennsylvania Conference in lacrosse, set a school record with nine victories.

Startsman will join Loudoun County grad Neils Vaaler who will be a sophomore this season at the Winchester school.
