Blacksburg (Feb. 13, 2008) – Heritage High School grad Les Bradley returned to Virginia over the weekend and captured the ACC Challenge 60-meter hurdles with a 7.98 at Virginia Tech.
The Unversity of Miami runner was coming off of an injury and competing indoors for the first time this season. Bradley and teammate Cory Nelms both advanced to the finals with Bradley posting a personal best of 8.14.
Bradley was then victorious in the finals to win with a PR time of 7.98. He was the only competitor to finish under eight seconds. Bradley was able to also see former Heritage graduate Nick McLaughlin, now running for the Holies.
“It was an awesome feeling to come home and do so well,” Bradley reported.
