Heritage Baseball Beats MB, 13-9, while Heritage Softball Doubles Up MB, 6-3

Leesburg (Mar. 18, 2008) – Heritage High School erased a 5-0 deficit with an 8-run fourth inning and went on to defeat Millbrook, 13-9, Tuesday in a non-district baseball game. Nick Clayton and John Rogerson combined for seven RBIs for the Pride. Rogerson also struck out eight in four innings while picking up the win.

Softball

Leesburg (Mar. 18, 2008) – The Heritage High School softball team avenged an earlier loss to Millbrook by defeating the Pioneers, 6-3, Tuesday. Abby Jamgochian and Valeria Irizarry combined for the win. Rachel Fortney led the offense going 2-for-2, with a double and three runs scored. Kelsey Scanlon also drove in two.
