Purvellville (Mar. 18, 2008) – The Heritage High School boys soccer team gave new coach Betsy Munson a victory in her first game with a 3-1 win Monday at Loudoun Valley.
Amadu Bangura, Shawn Page and Ivan Callejas all scored for Heritage.
It was a sweep for AA Heritage against AAA Valley on the day as the Pride girls opened with a 2-0 win over the Vikes. It was the Pride freshmen leading the way with Jessica Haley scoring the first goal early and then Lauren McKenzie assisted Kaitlin Thomas late. Lauren Furtner faced 13 shots on way to her first career shutout.
