(Apr. 25, 2008) – The Virginia High School League executive committee will hear four appeals at its May 7 meeting regarding the 2009-10 and 2010-11 realignment plan and three of them involve Loudoun schools. Heritage and Loudoun Valley will attempt one more time to be placed in the AAA Northern Region (Heritage requests the Liberty District and Valley the Concorde) instead of the Northwest Region.
While Stone Bridge won its appeal earlier this month to the Redistricting and Realignment committee to remain in the Northern Region and Liberty District, the Bulldogs will also be on the agenda as district rival Langley High School is curiously appealing Stone Bridge’s placement.
LPS Monkey says “If the Saxons are unhappy with the Liberty District … theycan always move to the Concorde District and face the Westfield’s and Centreville’s of the world!”
