Volleyball: Pride Hitting for a Cure in October

Leesburg (Sept. 22, 2008) – The Heritage High School volleyball team is teaming up with Papa John’s, La Villa Roma, and Loudoun Physicians for Women to raise money for ****** Cancer Research.

During the month of October, each time one of the Pride varsity players earns a **** (spike that scores a point), each of these great sponsors will donate $1.00 to the Susan G. Komen Fund to support ****** Cancer Research. At each home game, students will place a pink “K” on the wall after each ****.

The is the second year that the volleyball program has had this fundraiser, last year we raised over $900 and we hope to raise over $1,000 this year.

Please feel free to contact Heritage assistant volleyball coach Casey van Harssel (Casey.vanHarssel@loudoun.k12.va.us) if you have any questions about the fundraiser.
