Top 10 Rankings Per Division thru games played Sept. 28, 2008
(Sept. 30, 2008) – The Potomac Falls High School is tied for first in the state in the AA Division 4 football ratings released by the Virginia High School League Tuesday.
The Panthers, a big winner over Heritage on Friday, have a 26.5 rating, which ties the Panthers with Pulaski County. Broad Run (4-0) is tied for third with a 25.0 rating. Loudoun County (3-1) is ninth, thanks to a win over Park View and Handley’s surprising win over Sherando Saturday in the Northwestern District.
In AAA Division 5, the mediocre record of Stone Bridge’s opponents thus far has the Bulldogs at No. 7 in the state with a 26.8 rating. Phoebus, which fell to SB in the state quarterfinals last season, leads the state with a 29.2 rating. Edison, which lost to SB in the Northern Region finals, is tied for second with a 28.4 mark.
