Football: BR Improves To 5-0

Two Chris Jessop-to-Adrian Flemming TDs in the second quarter erased a 7-0 Pride lead. Breon Earl’s short punt return for a score provided the final cushion as Josh Thiel hit two second half field goals for Heritage. Pride QB Zach Gordon got the Homecoming crowd fired up with a first quarter score to Dan Dykema. Heritage drove to the Spartan 2 in the waning minutes only to have Joseph Walter intercept a pass in the end zone and return it 57 yards. BR then ran the clock out. Ross Madison gained 131 yards on 25 attempts for the Pride. BR 2-0, 5-0. Her 0-2, 3-2.
