The Skinny: Pride give up first goal of the year … but remain unbeaten and newly ranked by the Washington Post at No. 10!
Scott Wasser scored in the first half for the Pride, assisted by Luis Brun. Ivan Callejas scored in the second half, assisted by Amadu Bangura. And Brun scored in the second half, assisted by Callejas.
Freedom 2, Loudoun County 1
The Skinny: First ever home win for Eagles and just the fourth win in program history and first ever in district against an “older school”.
Abdiwahab Hassan, who played last year at Loudoun County, scored the game winner with under 12 minutes to play. He also had an assist on the first goal by freshman Taylor Evans, just brought up to varsity.

The Skinny: PF star Uche Onyeador exits in second half with minor injury. Panthers exhausted a lot of energy coming back to beat PV from two down on Monday
Shane Johnson scores in the 17th minute and then Jake Leahy adds the insurance in the 88th minute. Both goals came off set pieces.

Summary: The Vikes played host to unbeaten Battlefield in a Cedar Run district game Tuesday night. The Bobcats scored 20 minutes into the game off of a blast by Thomas Mayhugh from a free kick found the back of the Vikings net. The score was 1-0 at half and stayed that way until Franco Buzzalino headed home a corner kick with 33 mintues left to play. The Vikings played tough behind 18 saves from senior goalkeeper Nathan Bergel. The Vikings are now 3-5-0 overall and 0-0-0 in district play.
Mon. April 14
Potomac Falls 3, Park View 2
The Skinny: Panthers trailed 2-0, only to claw way back. There were seven yellow cards dished out in this neighborhood affair, five going to the Patriots.
